Afghanistán. High Mobilty in Rough Terrain: M-548 as basis of tracked MRAP

From Defence of Realm, last Sunday: Tactical mobility regarding, among others, German tracked RSO WWII era. This servant wrote something similar at a Jannuary 2008 post ¿Afganistán en Madrid, camino de África?

How many NATO M-548 (and odds M-113's) could be transformed into High Mobility Tracked Multi Mission MRAP's?.

Doesn't exist technical capabilities to develop modular and safety cabs and cargo/combat cargo beds and reinforce tracked systems against both IED's blasts and rough mountain terrain?
