The speaker is a Fellow of All Souls College and Director of the Leverhulme Programme on the Changing Character of War at the University of Oxford. He has written widely on military history and in this lecture he will draw on recent work on military strength in the 21st century. The event at Chatham House will be followed by a dinner at 20.00 (pre-dinner drinks at 19.30) at the Naval & Military Club ('In & Out'), 4 St James's Square. Chatham House members who would like to attend the dinner - 3 courses including wine and coffee £60 per head (black tie and medals)

All Souls College es una benemérita y centenaria fundación británica. Hew Strachan es un excelente académico y servidor no es miembro de Chatham House.
