So in the words of President Abraham Lincoln, let us remember that: "The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature."

Estimado Jorge,
Llamo su atención sobre los cuatro "autores" del discurso de toma de posesión.
Tenemos a un guionista y director de cine, a una escritora de éxito (premio Pulitzer amén de historiadora política), un consultor político (figura sin parangón por estos pagos) del equipo del recién elegido presidente y a un mítico Dinosaurio (con mayúsculas por respeto) al que JFK consideraba su banco de sangre intelectual.
¿No le parece a ud. maravilloso que en los Estados Unidos de América se tomen tantos esfuerzos y molestias en escribir discursos que huelen a responsabilidad y convicción en lugar de heder a partidismo?
